The Submittal Deadline is December 1, 2024.
Applications will be processed and scholarships awarded by January 1, 2025.
Scholarship disbursements will be retroactive to include the 2024 fall semester in college.

Eligibility Requirements
1. Must be a foreign citizen.
2. Must have graduated college with an undergraduate degree for the first time in 2024 in a foreign country.
3. Must be currently enrolled in graduate school or post baccalaureate professional program in the United States.
4. Must be fluent in the English language and must provide a copy of applicant’s English proficiency test results.
5. Must maintain the Graduation Schedule prepared by the institution and approved by the Department Chair and HSF.
6. Must contribute toward the cost of applicant’s education by working 240 hours from January 1 to September 1, prior to the start of the fall semester each academic year. Employment and/or paid internships must have been performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time or part-time, or a combination of the two.
7. Parents Gross Household Income for 2023 must not have exceeded $100,000 or the U.S. dollar equivalent.
8. Must not have been convicted of a crime.

Value of the Hagan International Scholarship 
1. $2,000 to purchase essential items for college.
2. Up to $7,500 each semester for up to four consecutive semesters or $30,000.
3. Free workshop to learn essential life skills not typically covered in the college curriculum.

The intended recipient of a Hagan International Scholarship is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.
