The Hagan Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to help high-achieving “goal-driven” rural students graduate college debt-free. Recipients must graduate from one of over 6,000 eligible public high schools, listed here. This fall, Hagan Scholars from 46 states will attend 409 colleges and universities.

The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over four years to attend college. Recipients must enroll at an eligible four-year not-for-profit college or university the first semester following high school graduation, listed here. Free Workshops, Free Investment Accounts, and Free Travel/Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum.
