2013 Scholarship Timeline

Current phase in red.

Step 1. After September 1, 2013 applicants must mail to HSF a complete Scholarship Application Package by November 15, 2013. Scholarship applications postmarked after November 15, 2013 will be returned unopened to the sender. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Step 2. Receipts will be emailed to applicants by December 15 using provided email addresses after all applications are reviewed for completeness, applicant eligibility and compliance with provided Instructions.

Step 3. Eligible applicants will be evaluated and ranked. Applicants selected for further consideration will be notified by regular mail and required to provide supplemental information. All other applicants will be notified by email.

Step 4. Finalists selected to be interviewed will be notified by regular mail and interviewed at Columbia, Missouri. All other applicants will be notified by email.

Step 5. All Finalists interviewed will be notified of their status by regular mail "Return Service Requested" within two weeks following the Interviews.

Each Finalist interviewed and not awarded a scholarship will receive One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) to be used to further his or her education. 

 

Decisions made by HSF are final and not subject to appeal.
